I Have A Secret

I have a secret and it's just about killing me not to tell everyone.  But I have to wait.  Hopefully not for very much longer.  I think I'll be able to spill the beans next week.  Check back to see.....

New Projects

I am re-designing a pair of cowgirl boots.  They are white with silver metal studs, fringe, and high heels.  I'm going to paint part of them black and put either clear or black rhinestones on them.  If you have any ideas for me please let me know.  I'll show you the finished product next week.

New Projects

It's about time I posted something.  I really have been having fun with my Etsy store.  I just put some new things in there and I have so much fun with them.  The first one was a bracelet I made out of an old belt.  I just cut and glued it together and I think they turned out so cute.  The next was a fabric flower headband and my favorite was a bracelet made out of elastic with tons of button sewed on it.  My friend had one on last week and I knew I had to make one.

Getting Started

I love to create something out of nothing.  Taking yarn or fabric and turning it into something you can wear or use is the greatest thing.  I started sewing when I was about 5 years old.  A friend was having a birthday party for one of her dolls and I didn't have anything to give her.  I asked my mom for some scraps and I designed, cut out, and sewed a pair of pants for the doll.  I remember them being very flimsy and crude but I loved the process and I was hooked.  The only thing I love more is when someone loves what I've made as much as I do.  That's why I'm constantly trying to market and sell my creations.  I make bows and headbands and sell them at my friend's boutique here in town and now I want to try my hand at the Etsy thing.  Wish me luck and visit me often!
